Job summary

Centria Autism Services seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors and ensuring safety.

No prior experience required—comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 2
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA guidance and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
