Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician in Fall River, MA, to implement behavior support plans and provide ABA-based instruction under supervision. The position is part-time and offered on a fee-for-service basis, with after-school/evening hours available.

You will monitor client behavior, collect data, and communicate findings to the supervising BCBA. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required; a vehicle and laptop access are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 24 months of experience with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, or families.
• Associates degree or higher in related discipline or BACB-related credential with 12 months experience.
• Certification as an RBT with 12 months experience working with relevant populations.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior.
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills under supervision.
• Monitor and data-collect client behavior; report data to supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBA and family to support meaningful behavior changes.
