Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team, delivering ABA-based instruction under the direction of a BCBA. The role focuses on implementing behavior support plans to reduce challenging behavior and develop new skills, while collaborating with families.

The position is part-time, fee-for-service, with availability after school, evenings, and potential for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 24 months of experience in developmental disabilities or related fields.
• Or an associate degree or higher in a related discipline with 12 months of experience.
• Or BACB RBT certification with 12 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients' behavior support plans under supervision to reduce problematic behavior and promote skill development.
• Provide ABA-based instruction and collect data on client behavior.
• Monitor and report data to supervising BCBA; collaborate with families to support behavioral changes.
