Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children who have autism or developmental delays. Sessions occur in home, clinic, or school, typically 2–3 hours, with afternoon/evening shifts 2–8pm, Monday to Sunday.

You will implement intervention plans designed by BCBAs, record progress data, and communicate with families. We welcome entry-level candidates and RBT-certified applicants looking to grow in ABA.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is required.
• Preferred: current student or recent graduate in psychology, education, sociology, biology, or related field.
• Highly preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification or ABA paraprofessional training certificate.
• Must obtain RBT certification within 6 months of employment or maintain active BCBA/ABAT certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through structured activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
• Collect data on client progress and document accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
