Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in California is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in in-home or clinic settings. You’ll work 1:1, 2–3 hour sessions, schedule 2-8pm, with training and RBT certification encouraged.

Salaries range $20–$24/hour, with potential increases after certification. We value compassionate, patient individuals who can engage families and tailor activities to each child.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• RBT certification is preferred; 40-hour RBT training must be completed before start date.
• Must obtain RBT certification within 6 months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
