Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in Riverbank, CA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician. You will work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays in-home or in-clinic, 2–3 hour sessions, 2–8pm, Monday to Sunday.

Compensation ranges from $20–$24 per hour, with potential increases after RBT certification. Qualifications include high school diploma, 6 months’ experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities, and a willingness to obtain RBT certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Preferred: current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or ABA paraprofessional training certificate.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients

Responsibilities

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
