Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in New York is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide 1-1 ABA services in home settings, supporting BCBA-designed treatment plans for children aged 2-15.

This flexible part-time role offers evening/afternoon hours, paid training, and a supportive, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth within a national behavioral health organization, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or developmental disabilities preferred; training provided.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement BCBA-designed behavioral plans.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report outcomes.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families and supervisors.
• Assist with physical activities during sessions (e.g., moving with children).
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
