Job summary

BlueSprig is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Salinas, California. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $22.00–$23.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with comprehensive paid training for newcomers.

Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay, Benefits & Perks

• Competitive pay:
• $22.00–$23.00/hour for billable RBT hours based on experience
• Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive $19.00 for each billable client hour worked
• $17.00/hour paid for all non-billable training and administrative time
• Candidates with an active RBT certification at the time of hire will receive a $200 bonus on their first paycheck
• Fully paid training — no experience required

RBT Career Path Program

• A structured career ladder allows you to grow clinically and professionally.
• Progress through RBT Level 1‑4 and Lead RBT with pay increases at each level.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full‑Time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Hours vary based on client needs and scheduling
• Optional Saturdays available twice per month based on client needs
• Hours are not guaranteed
• Start Date: Immediate openings available pending successful completion of onboarding and background check

What You’ll Do

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in center‑based and/or home‑based settings.

• Work one‑on‑one or in small group settings with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops for continued professional development.
• Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards.
