Job summary

Trumpet Behavioral Health, part of the BlueSprig family, is hiring for Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) roles. Provide ABA therapy in center or home settings, with comprehensive training and mentorship.

You will teach skills, collect data, and collaborate with families and staff to support children with autism. Training path and growth opportunities emphasized.

• No prior ABA experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in center-based and home settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills to children with autism.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with clients.
• Collect and record data to track progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates on treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings and meetings for ongoing development.
• Follow company policies, confidentiality, and reporting standards.

Pay, Benefits & Perks

• Competitive pay:
  • $21.00–$22.00/hour for billable RBT hours based on experience
  • Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 17.50 for each billable client hour worked
  • 15.50/hour paid for all non‑billable training and administrative time
  • Candidates with an active RBT certification at the time of hire will receive a $200‑bonus on their first paycheck

RBT Career Path Program

• A structured career ladder allows you to grow clinically and professionally.
• Progress through RBT Level 1‑4 and Lead RBT with pay increases at each level.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full‑Time
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Hours vary based on client needs and scheduling
  • Optional Saturdays available twice per month based on client needs
  • Hours are not guaranteed

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
• Passion for helping children and families
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
