Job summary

BlueSprig is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA therapy to children with autism, in both center-based and home-based settings. The role supports families and works under supervision with BCBA guidance, with paid training and a clear path for certification and growth.

Compensation includes hourly pay for billable hours, increased rates for RBTs, and a $200-sign-on bonus for active RBTs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently.
• Passion for helping children and families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in center-based and/or home-based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills to children with autism.
• Work one-on-one or in small group settings with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops for continued professional development.
• Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards.

Pay, Benefits & Perks

• Competitive pay:

• $22.00–$23.00/hour for billable RBT hours based on experience

• 19.00 for each billable client hour worked

• 18.00/hour paid for all non-billable training and administrative time

• Candidates with an active RBT certification at the time of hire will receive a $200-bonus on their first paycheck

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time

• Schedule:

• Monday–Friday between 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM
• This role is primarily based in‑home, however, employees will need to commute to the center in Long Beach during training.

• Hours vary based on client needs and scheduling

• Optional Saturdays available twice per month based on client needs

• Hours are not guaranteed

• Start Date:

• Immediate openings available pending successful completion of onboarding and background check
