Job summary

Astra ABA in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in children’s in-home settings. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision, use positive reinforcement and NET, and contribute to skill development across communication, social, play and academic areas.

Responsibilities include data collection, same-day SOAP notes, collaborating with BCBAs and families, and maintaining client confidentiality in line with HIPAA and BACB

Responsibilities

• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and NET.
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.

Hours: M-F 4-7 pm

Behavior Technician (BT) Responsibilities

• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET).
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
