Job summary

Astra ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home, under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will implement treatment plans (BIPs) with fidelity, use ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and NET, and collect data with same-day SOAP notes.

You will collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains while protecting privacy under HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting.
• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET).
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
