Job summary

Astra ABA in North Carolina is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician (BT) to support children through in-home ABA therapy. You will work under BCBA supervision to implement treatment plans and help children realize their potential.

The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with families and BCBAs, and adherence to HIPAA and BACB ethics, with ongoing training and supervision to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting.
• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET).
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.

Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30
