Job summary

Astra ABA is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy for children in Wallace, NC, under BCBA supervision. This full-time role focuses on implementing treatment plans and data collection to support skill development across communication, social, play, and academic domains.

The position requires a high school diploma and experience with aggression or self-injury. Work hours are Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–7:00 PM and Sat 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (negotiable).

Qualifications

• Experience with aggression and self-injurious behaviors is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home settings, implementing treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and NET to support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and BACB Ethics Code for RBTs.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.

• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA, adhering to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.

Salary

$25 - $30 per hour
