Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. The role involves physical activity, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
