Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in California is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician for flexible part-time in-home or clinic sessions. Responsibilities include one-on-one support, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA-led plans.

Training and RBT certification support offered, with onboarding considerations. The role emphasizes building communication and social skills in children with autism or developmental delays, requiring afternoon/evening availability and a willingness to pursue

Qualifications

• 1) 6 months of experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities or related field.
• 2) Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 6 months if not already certified.
• 3) Bilingual abilities are a plus (Spanish) and a strong desire to help children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support in home, clinic or school.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
