Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children with autism in home, clinic, or school settings. Shifts are 2–3 hours, Monday to Sunday, 2–8pm, with afternoon and evening availability.

Paid training and RBT Certification provided; you will implement plans, collect data, and communicate with families as part of a supportive team. Sessions occur in-home, clinic, or school, and you’ll grow within a compassionate, mission‑driven organization.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification or ABA paraprofessional training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
