Job summary

New Patterns ABA - CT is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver in-home and community-based ABA therapy for individuals with ASD. You will work with BCBAs and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized plans, collect data, and maintain detailed notes.

The role involves travel to clients' homes and community settings, with a flexible PART_TIME schedule and strong training opportunities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, or speech-language pathology) preferred

  • Maintain accurate and detailed session notes, reports, and treatment records
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share knowledge, and receive support

As a Behavior Technician with our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and collaborative in-home and community-based ABA therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. Our mission at New Patterns ABA - CT is to foster growth and independence by listening to every voice and working together to discover each individual's potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ABA therapy sessions in home and community settings, incorporating evidence-based interventions and procedures to promote skill acquisition and adaptation
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and other multidisciplinary team members
  • Collect and record data to measure treatment effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed session notes, reports, and treatment records
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share knowledge, and receive support
