You will support curriculum delivery, implement behavior strategies, and help with materials, progress records, and student supervision in both in-person and online settings.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Mandatory biennial Crisis Prevention Intervention training.
• Medication administration training provided by the District.
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment and Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students.
• Ability to implement behavior modification techniques.
• Ability to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations.
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of behavior strategies and emotional regulation of students in the classroom. (Daily, 45%)
• Assist students with classroom activities, including adapting the curriculum to individual student needs. (Daily, 25%)
• Implement student accommodations, supports, modifications, procedures, and programming; maintain progress records. (Daily, 20%)
• Assist licensed staff in preparing materials, paperwork, and documentation; help with events like fire drills. (Daily, 5%)
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested. (Daily, 5%)
