Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will assist individuals and small groups with curriculum, skill development, behavior strategies, and assignment completion, and prepare instructional materials.

You will monitor progress, maintain records, provide technical physical care, and support remote learning with technology access and executive functioning strategies.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• No professional work experience required
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior in collaboration with licensed staff.
• Prepare instructional materials and support online/remote learning tasks.
• Assist with attendance, tests, and general classroom events.
• Provide technical physical care and ensure a clean, safe environment.
