Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to assist students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will support individuals and small groups with curriculum, behavior strategies, and assignment completion, while preparing instructional materials and maintaining progress records.

In both in-person and remote settings, you will help with technology access, executive functioning, and coursework completion, aligning with IEP goals and district safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency diploma is required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention training is mandatory.
• Medication administration training is provided by the District.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain progress records.
• Prepare materials, assist with tests, and support attendance.
• Assist with safety drills and other classroom events.
• Provide online/remote support for curriculum and technology access.
