Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will work one-on-one on IEP goals, assist in behavior support plan development, and track data on progress while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation. Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in educational settings with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure plan consistency.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
