Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will work one-on-one per IEP goals, assist in behavior plan development, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster safe, inclusive learning environments. The role offers ongoing training, meaningful impact, and a robust benefits package including health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Must be 19 or older per state requirements for paraprofessionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students to meet IEP goals.
• Help develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
