Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior support plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic guidance. The role requires a high school diploma and experience in education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Proven ability to work with diverse learners and support plans.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record progress data.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and safety procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent plans.
