Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Paraprofessional Assessment with required options or higher degree.
• Completion of 14 hours Fundamental Course of Study in first year.
• 70 hours PD within three years for General Paraeducator Certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with safety protocols.
• Proof of immunization and I-9 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Program students one-to-one, small group, and integrated settings.
• Support teachers with materials and instructional delivery.
• Assist in de-escalation and safe intervention during crises.
• Maintain student records and assist with progress tracking.
• Ensure safety and adherence to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
