Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paraprofessional assessment or higher education credential required.
• First aid/CPR training to be maintained.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Program students in one-to-one, small group, and integrated settings.
• Support de-escalation and safe interaction with students as directed.
• Assist teachers in preparing materials for individualized learning needs.
• Support gross and fine motor activities and adaptive behavior goals.
• Assist with communication for students with speech/language needs.
• Maintain student records and progress notes as required.
• Supervise students to maintain a safe environment and follow PBIS.
• Participate in trainings focused on behavioral intervention and safety.
