Job summary

Marysville School District 25 seeks a paraeducator to support Behavior Intervention Programs and learning environments where behaviorally challenged students are integrated. The role is 6.00–6.50 hours/day, 184 days/year, reporting to Building Principal.

Responsibilities include one-to-one and small group support, de-escalation, material prep, and data collection. Requires paraprofessional credentials, First Aid/CPR, and ABA knowledge; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Paraprofessional Assessment with required score or higher or equivalent college transcript.
• Complete required coursework and certifications before or soon after start date.
• Training in Basic Behavioral Analysis and related safety protocols requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Program students in one-to-one and small group settings.
• Support positive behavioral interventions and de-escalation.
• Assist in preparing materials and recording student progress.
• Monitor safety and supervise students during activities.
• Maintain student records and assist with assessments and reports.
• Attend required trainings and district meetings.
