Job summary

Lakeview Center is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to support counselors, nursing and therapy staff in residential, inpatient, and outpatient programs across Northwest Florida. The role emphasizes establishing positive relationships, helping clients with daily living, and supporting treatment goals.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification, CPI training, and the ability to work across multiple programs while ensuring client health and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CPR certification.
• Must be able to pass CPI training.
• Able to provide integrated mental health, substance use and co-occurring services to individuals and families, as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist counselors, nursing, and therapeutic staff in clinical support.
• Help clients complete activities of daily living and access resources.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of clients.
• Implement interventions per the treatment plan.
• Monitor and document client progress.
