Job summary

LifeView Group, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to support counselors and nursing staff in residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community-based settings across Florida.

You will build supportive relationships, assist with daily living activities, and help clients access needed resources while monitoring health and progress. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, CPI training, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CPR certification.
• Must be able to pass CPI training.
• Must provide integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services as required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work other behavioral health programs as needed.
• Must pass background screenings as appropriate.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive helping relationship with people receiving services.
• Assist with activities of daily living and access to resources.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of those served.
• Implement interventions per individual treatment or service plans.
• Monitor and document progress of individuals.
