Job summary

Lakeview Center in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to support counselors, nursing staff, and treatment teams across residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community programs.

You will help adults and children receiving substance use and mental health services by establishing positive relationships, assisting with daily living, ensuring safety, implementing treatment plans, and monitoring progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• CPI training required.
• 20 hours of CCA training provided.
• Must pass Human Trafficking training within 60 days of hire.
• Must meet organization screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive helping relationship with clients.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and accessing resources.
• Ensure health, safety, and well‑being of clients.
• Implement interventions per the treatment plan.
• Monitor and document client progress.
