Lakeview Center Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support counselors, nursing staff, and treatment teams across residential, inpatient, daytime, and outpatient programs in Northwest Florida.

The role involves establishing positive relationships with clients, assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring safety, implementing interventions per treatment plans, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• CPI training required.
• 20 hours of CCA training provided.
• Human Trafficking training within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to provide integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass state/organization background screenings.

Responsabilités

• Establish a positive helping relationship with persons receiving services.
• Assist persons to complete activities of daily living and access needed resources.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of persons receiving services.
• Implement interventions according to treatment/service plans.
• Monitor and document the person’s progress.
