Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Behavior Consultant / BCBA on Eastern Long Island, NY. The role supports students with special needs, conducts FBAs, designs BIPs, and coaches school staff to implement interventions. Remote or on-site travel may occur; licensure and credentials are required, with compensation ranging based on service provided and caseload.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education or Psychology is required.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify function of behavior and interventions.
• Design and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with student needs and goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate progress and make data-driven recommendations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and attend CSE meetings to present progress and needs.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliant documentation and communicate with supervisors.
• Travel between assigned districts to provide on-site consultation.
