Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under IEP guidance.

This role emphasizes data-driven progress monitoring, customized behavior strategies, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic student development. You will work in diverse educational settings, implementing interventions, recording outcomes, and communicating with families to reinforce goals and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned student per IEP goals with accommodations.
• Provide customized behavior support and life skills instruction.
• Record data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement behavior plans.
• Use de-escalation and crisis-management techniques when needed.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during transitions and travel to locations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
