Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under IEP guidance in classroom and one-on-one settings.

You will collaborate with teachers and specialists, implement PBIS-based strategies, record progress, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in educational settings implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Use behavior support and de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Supervise students during transit between locations.
