Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students requiring intensive behavioral interventions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience applying behavioral supports in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with a student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise students and ensure safe transitions between locations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as required by the student.
