Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is recruiting a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will implement IEP goals, assist with behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in diverse educational settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with behavioral interventions in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during school activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
