Job summary

• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in an educational setting.
• Experience preferred working with students with intensive behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record progress data.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management if necessary.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and monitor student safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
