Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone programs.

You will implement individualized supports under an IEP and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Posting notes a pay rate of $18.44/hour with benefits including healthcare, retirement matching, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting with behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain safety.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation.
