Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor to lead a school-age program site. You will supervise staff and volunteers, ensure program quality, and align activities with YMCA values.

Responsibilities include budgeting, family outreach, safety compliance, and partnership with schools and the community to deliver developmentally appropriate programming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred in a child-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of childcare and staff supervision experience.
• Knowledge of youth development and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Design and implement lesson plans focusing on SEL, academics, and enrichment.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Engage families and community partners; represent the YMCA at events.
• Assist in budget planning; monitor expenses and fee collection; support fundraising.
• Ensure safety procedures, incident reporting, and compliance with licensing.
