Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a dedicated Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. The role involves promoting strong community relations with families and school staff, and helping to ensure quality programming.

The position requires adherence to licensing standards, active supervision of children, and collaboration with counselors and district personnel.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop and utilize appropriate discipline procedures.
• Some leadership and management skill.
• Able to make appropriate decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce Colorado licensing requirements for the program.
• Supervise and engage with students during program hours.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff and district.
• Maintain safe conditions for students and staff.
• Promote and market the before/after program and full day care.
