Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. This role focuses on safety, engagement, and quality programming for students before and after school and full days.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication with parents and staff, the ability to develop activities, and a commitment to licensing requirements and community relations within the district.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Leader must be age 18 or over.
• Must have at least three months (455 hours) of verified experience in supervising children.
• CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces all Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements.
• Directly supervises and engages with students during times in the program.
• Exhibits excellent communication with parents, students, school staff, district staff and coworkers.
• Maintains safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promotes and markets the program for before and after care and full days.
• Attend monthly program staff meetings as required by director.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
