Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking an enthusiastic Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. The role focuses on community relations with families and school staff and helping to deliver high-quality programming.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a foundational early childhood credential, and current CPR/First Aid. You will work under the director to ensure licensing compliance and safe, engaging activities for children

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprinting required
• Leader must be 18+
• Experience with children and ability to supervise
• At least one qualified credential (3 months/455 hours or Level I+)
• Annual clock hours training required
• Knowledge of childcare principles and safety procedures
• Ability to develop discipline procedures and lead activities
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification current or obtainable within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Assist the program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Promote good community relations with families and school staff.
• Support quality programming and lesson planning for daily operations.
• Enforce licensing requirements and ensure safe conditions for students and staff.
• Assist with program marketing and enrollment efforts.
• Participate in professional development trainings as required.
