Job summary

Greenstone Meats seeks a Beef Program Manager to lead the beef product portfolio—from sourcing to inventory, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and profitable supply for customers. You will work closely with farmers, processors, sales, and logistics teams to align programs with customer specs and brand positioning.

You will monitor metrics, analyze market trends and costs, support pricing, and prepare updates and reports while contributing to long-term strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in beef, meat, or protein category management, including sourcing, production planning, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics coordination, and vendor relationship management within food or agriculture sectors.
• Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and margin management, with the ability to use spreadsheets and business planning tools.
• Understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance for meat and protein products.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, food science, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous experience in branded meat programs, private label, or customer-focused product development is an asset.
