Job summary

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent; one to three months related experience.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.
• One year of related experience in medical/financial services or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling, registration, and admitting functions at bedside.
• Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Calculate estimates and collect liabilities for timely billing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies.
