Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign all beds, evaluate and document patient transfers, and ensure smooth patient flow across departments.

The role requires a BSN, Georgia RN licensure, and BCLS, with 3–5 years in acute care; EPIC EMR proficiency is required, and charge nurse or higher leadership is preferred to support a high-demand hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units, physicians, and surgical/procedural areas to facilitate patient flow.
