Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate bed placement and facilitate patient transfers. You will work with ED, inpatient units and physicians to ensure timely, safe patient flow and optimal bed utilization.

The role requires a BSN and 3–5 years of acute care RN experience, with EPIC EMR proficiency and leadership experience preferred. This is a on-site position based at PAH.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years RN in acute care required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Charge nurse or higher leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with physician offices, ED, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow.
