Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign all beds and to evaluate, coordinate, screen, and document patient transfers. This role collaborates with ED, inpatient units, surgical services and physicians to optimize patient flow and care at PAH.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, Georgia RN licensure, 3–5 years in acute care, EPIC EMR proficiency, and leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN required and Georgia RN licensure.
• 3–5 years RN acute care experience required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units and physicians to optimize patient flow.
