Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Experience Manager to lead a salon and boutique team, delivering exceptional guest experiences and top-line sales. You will oversee stylists, estheticians, guest coordinators, and managers, driving NPS and guest satisfaction across services and retail.

The role emphasizes coaching, staffing, and adherence to company policies, with a focus on profitability and service excellence in a fast-paced beauty retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Cosmetology license and/or a cosmetology management license where required by state law.
• 2-3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management work experience or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Cosmetology management: advanced competency in services, including sales, guest experience, and product attachment; knowledge of regulations.
• Retail management: monitoring inventory levels, operating excellence, driving a service culture, and executing directives.
• Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent and leading teams through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team across salon and boutiques to deliver guest experience and top-line sales.
• Ensure compliance with policies, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Coach and develop associates; manage staffing and guest engagement programs.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and expense control.
