Nordstrom seeks a Beauty Counter Manager to lead sales in our California stores, delivering personalized beauty experiences and promoting a premium service standard. The role blends in-store engagement with digital outreach to grow the customer base and brand loyalty.

You will train team members, manage events and promotions, and cultivate strong vendor relationships while maintaining a customer-ready, trend-aware counter.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses; recommend products based on customer goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools.
• Manage vendor events and promotions scheduling/execution.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay updated on beauty trends through trainings by Nordstrom and partners.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges and build customer loyalty via Nordstrom Rewards.
