Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager 2 to lead strategy for Air Force Solid Rocket Motor programs, driving new captures and growth on a cross-functional team. The role may be based at the Bacchus or Promontory campus in Utah, with relocation assistance potentially available.

The selected candidate will manage proposals, build customer relationships, and develop win strategies while interfacing with senior management on diverse topics.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience within the aerospace community involving government procurement of weapons systems.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in capture management, business development, project/business/program management or engineering.
• Ability to conduct independent initial technical and concept discussions with Space Science and Technology community.
• Must possess a current Secret clearance at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Managing task distribution and workflow that support proposals for cross-division pursuits.
• Communicate with customer community and stakeholders; conduct initial discussions independently.
• Translate customer needs into requirements and tailor services into offerings.
• Oversee Northrop Grumman BAP steps, growth strategies, and pursuit prioritization.
• Assist capture/proposal managers with proposals and execution.
